Today marks another successful spin around the sun for our rhythm master, Ian Luke. Ian is, without a doubt, an integral part of what makes us rock. He has the chops, versatility and perfect streak of musical madness.
Back in the Fall of 2010, Ian auditioned to be in the Mad Ms. He was the one musician auditioning who nailed all of the tunes I had chosen for the try-out. He had actually prepared! He even pulled of the quirky rhythms in Magdalena’s Revenge and the break in For the Love of Pete. Wow!
6 1/2 years and 3 albums later he is still dazzling us. Proof: Ian’s solo on Shake Those Bones
