GDub’s Reflections on 20 years of the Mad Maggies
The Cotati Accordion Festival has been very good to us. In its 33 years of existence, Maggie and I have attended all but two.
Mags had already played Cotati a bunch of times with Polkacide before the MadMs were formed.
She formed the band in 2004 to make an album. In 2005 we started gigging and Scott Paul Goree gave us a slot in that year’s lineup. It was our 3rd live gig as a band.
Thank you Scott and everyone else in the organization who have chosen to bring us back.
