We played a rousing set with so much energy I though we'd lift the whole crowd, lawnchairs and all into the air. A couple of tunes in and we had them dancing. The line up was fantastic on both days. We made fans, sold swag and simpy enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. This is the local festival you'll want to put on your calendar for next Summer. August 13 - Downtown San Rafael Farmer's Market, San Rafael - easy going despite persistent wind. High notes were the athletic breakdancers and a Bill Murray sighting. The dancers, about 8 young guys, spontaneously started breaking to "For the Love of Pete" and continued to dazzle the crowd with their moves as we played several more tunes. Bill Murray had stopped to watch us, no doubt enjoying the live entertainment on the streets. Ya gotta love it. August 5 - Sonoma County Fair, Santa Rosa August 9 - Marin Civic Center Farmer's Market, San Rafael July 18 - Grand Lake Farmer's Market, Oakland June 26 - private wedding banquet June 19 - Mystic Theater, Petaluma with Vagabond Opera and Amber Lee -- this show rocked, honestly. Three excellent acts, enthusiastic audience, great old venue with top notch sound system and super dance floor. Yep, it was fun. June 4 - Ashkenaz, Berkeley June 6 - Sarah's Vineyard Annual Spring Grill, Gilroy -- This show was a lovely full moon affair. Perfect weather, good crowd, fantastic wine, dellicious grilled meat. We played a tight 90 minute set out of doors overlooking the grapevines. The Porch Flies and the Adrian Gormley Ensemble also played. This beautiful winery is definitely worth a visit whenever you're near Gilroy. Be sure and play a game of Bocce Ball on their regulation sized courts while you're there. May 23 - Smiley's Saloon & Hotel, Bolinas May 17 - Marin Civic Center Farmer's Market, San Rafael May 2 - Graeser Winery, Calistoga April 26 - Spring Fest at Speisekammer Restaurant, Alameda -- Playing music for a music-loving, pro-beer crowd was a pleasure. There were Bavarian dancers, beer drinking contests, good food and plenty of tunes. Eins, zwei, drei g'suffa! See video... March 14 - 158th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival, San Francisco - this show was a blast! Hundreds of green-bedecked revelers. We stirred up a rousing, singing, dancing crowd.
